Danica has been shortlisted in the Welfare and Corporate Social Responsibility Award category in recognition of the work our team, led by Henrik, has carried out on behalf of seafarers and their families impacted by the war in Ukraine and their families.
War in Ukraine, an important crew supply centre, has had a massive impact on the welfare of seafarers and their families and Danica Crewing Specialists has been at the forefront of supporting them. Throughout this terrifying and complex situation Danica’s teams have remained calm under extreme duress, resolving problems and focussing on the needs of seafarers and their families.
Danica staff have gone above and beyond their duty to provide practical help and comfort, regularly putting their own needs second. Not many crewing agents have worked through air raids with their own lives at risk! This nomination recognises that dedication.
